EStars Teams up with esports insider for upcoming spring forum
7th March, 2019
EStars are delighted to be teaming up with one of the worlds leading industry platforms, Esports Insider (ESI) for its upcoming ESI Spring Forum. Based in London, ESI is an international industry events and media company with a business focused news site.
Taking place on Friday 22nd March, the night before EStars featuring Fortnite at the Ethiad Stadium, the event will see industry experts network and discuss the “Battle Royale” genre in esports at the City Football Academy Media Centre.
Sam Cooke, Managing Director and Co-Founder of ESports Insider commented: “We’re really pleased to be hosting the second edition of our 2019 Forum Series in Manchester.
“Unlike our conferences, these evening events are aimed more specifically at promoting and growing the UK esports industry and so it was little bit unacceptable that we hadn’t yet ventured outside of London yet. We’ll have a panel about the potential of the Battle Royale genre in esports, with speakers sat on the same stage in which Pep Guardiola is usually sat discussing Sergio Aguero. It made sense too to host this on the same weekend EStars are in town, the tournament organiser who’ve been hosting some great Fortnite events at football stadiums around the UK.”
Maeve Finnegan, Head of Marketing and PR at EStars will be joining the panel to discuss the hot topic “Esports are for life, not just a fortnight – what is the true potential for Battle Royale titles in esports?”
Maeve added: “It is a privilege to be part of Esports Insider Forum Series, particularly as it so close to our own event at The Ethiad Stadium. We’re excited to be part of the panel discussion and look forward to covering some interesting topics. The esports industry is growing at such a phenomenal rate and we’re delighted to be contributing to that growth, offering grassroots tournaments to players across the world.”
Tickets are selling fast for the event, which is the perfect platform for key industry stakeholders to meet in a relaxed environment with food and drink aplenty, as well as one insightful panel, a keynote presentation and a relaxed games tournament to boot.
